Shopify tariff code sync

Enter your tariff code in Shopify, and ShipBob will automatically sync tariff codes from your Shopify store to products with empty fields on the ShipBob dashboard to save time, minimize human error, and ensure seamless cross-border shipments.

Our sync logic only updates your ShipBob dashboard if fields are empty, making it easy for you to populate tariff information for new SKUs added to Shopify without overriding information you’ve already entered in your ShipBob dashboard.

Improved international order routing algorithm

For merchants fulfilling orders in multiple countries, we've simplified inventory allocation across all countries we ship from to help you achieve more cost-effective international fulfillment.

Instead of defaulting to shipping from the US when the non-US in-country fulfillment center is out-of-stock, we now automatically assign the order to the fulfillment center with the lowest shipping cost.

Freight

Reduce transit times, and increase visibility for freight coming to the US from China.

ShipBob is the first fulfillment company to successfully execute ocean freight distribution by chartering boats specifically reserved for customers’ goods.

Shopify integration enhancements

Simplify ShipBob and Shopify account management with new self-serve setup and integration settings. By consolidating all of your Shopify settings into one place in ShipBob, you can now manage multiple stores easily with upgraded access and control over business-critical integration settings.

Three new settings – bulk order import, fulfill ShipBob line items only, and payment status – give you more direct control over running your Shopify store in ShipBob.

Shopify bulk order sync

Use bulk order sync for your Shopify store to automatically import historical orders or a large set of orders at once, filling any gaps and minimizing supply chain disruptions.

Shopify merchants can choose from flexible order sync settings including new bulk order sync, real-time order sync, or manual order sync. With bulk order sync, you can upload multiple orders according to a specific timeframe (vs. manually selecting each order), saving you time and effort over manual order sync.

New Amazon integration and inventory sync for FBM in North America

Fulfill orders for Amazon's marketplaces in the US, Canada, and Mexico with our new and improved integration for Amazon Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM).

You can not only easily sync products and tracking as you did before, but also enjoy faster order sync (from 2 hours to just 30 minutes!), and new inventory quantity sync that uses smart logic to sync your inventory counts between platforms every 15 minutes.

40+ new retailers

ShipBob now integrates with over 60 retailers, including Williams Sonoma, Kroger, Petco and 37 others added to our ecosystem over the last couple of months for EDI-automated online and/or in-store B2B order fulfillment.

Leverage our expansive B2B network, EDI integration partners SPS Commerce, LogicBroker, and Cymbio, and speed-to-market to satisfy your retail partners and end consumers alike.

Request more information to see if your preferred retailer is on the list (or coming soon!).

Edit B2B order lot details

Gain more control over B2B fulfillment with order-specific lots. In addition to using lot numbers for SKUs you want to separate out by batch, ShipBob now offers the ability to specify a lot to use for a B2B order, which enables you to use the first in, first out (FIFO) inventory method.

Don’t fret about your merchandise expiring or a new rebrand going awry. You can track and separate out inventory of the same SKU that you don't want mixed.

Shopper Experience

Competition is now on a global scale, and shopper expectations have skyrocketed.

Keep up with rising customer expectations for delivery by investing in transparent delivery experiences.

Real-time tracking

Real-time tracking

Shoppers demand transparency when it comes to order delivery - and they want it fast.

Give customers faster access to accurate order tracking with new real-time tracking for Shopify, Squarespace, Ebay, ShipStation, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and BackerKit integrations.

Order tracking details will automatically sync between ShipBob and store integrations within minutes vs. previous 1-hour syncs.

Klaviyo integration

Our new direct integration with Klaviyo syncs shipment status from all order milestones — limited stock notifications, pre-shipment alerts, tracking updates, and more.

Push key order notifications via email and SMS directly to your customer to reduce WISMO (“Where is my order”) questions, making sure your customers know where their package is at all times.

Our direct integration with Klaviyo is now available in the ShipBob App store.

Box algorithm enhancements

Optimize for cost when you use both custom and standard packaging when you opt in to a new custom box adder setting that will assign either standard or custom packaging to orders, depending on the cheaper estimated billable weight of each packaging option available.

The new box algorithm option will choose the cheapest option between custom box and standard packaging.

Prop 65 labels

California's label law, Proposition 65, can be confusing and costly. To avoid running the risk of lawsuits or fines, you can trust us to apply Prop 65 labels to all of your orders that ship to California and keep your business in compliance.

To do this, products must be marked as “Prop 65 label required” on the Product Details page under packaging requirements for each SKU we’d ship to customers. Your individually cut Prop 65 labels must be shipped to ShipBob and stored as inventory in every fulfillment center that you’ve enabled to ship to California.

Warehouse Management

Delightful customer experiences start on the warehouse floor.

Our proprietary warehouse management system (WMS) provides consistent, optimized operations across ShipBob’s global network, including Merchant Plus sites leveraging ShipBob’s WMS solution for in-house fulfillment.

Cycle counts for improved inventory accuracy

Great customer experiences require great inventory management. One way to ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse is through cycle counts, a proactive method of physically confirming that inventory counts match our records in ShipBob’s proprietary warehouse management system and your dashboard.

All fulfillment centers in ShipBob’s global network now have a proactive cycle count process to identify and fix inventory discrepancies. Cycle counts will be performed quarterly for all SKUs to verify all inventory attributes including total count, quality, and lot/expiration to ensure that no inventory issues impact your customers.
